Thick cabled jacket with round edges

This lovely jacket in our ALASKA 100 yarn has a very unusual shape that makes it a perfect pattern for expert knitters.A super-sized cable winds around the jacket like a creeper, and the rounded front opening is very feminine and graceful. Great for wearing open, or fastened with a big pin or button – or if you prefer you can add more buttons or press-studs to nip it in at the waist. Check out all the different options in the haberdashery section.It is knitted on 6 mm and 7 mm needles and you’ll also be using a cable needle for the fancy stitches, and round stitch markers to show where it needs sewing together. You’ll also need to be familiar with grafting to make this pattern (check out our knitting advice section).Stitches used: stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch, twisted stocking stitch, 2x2 rib, fancy rib and cables.Machine wash on wool cycle, dry flat.
