This lovely, classic style has been brought bang up to date with contrasting edging highlighted by a narrow cable.

This pattern is knitted on 6 mm and 6.5 mm needles – you’ll also need a cable needle. Of course, it’ll be perfect to wear with the matching slipper socks.

Stitches used: 1x1 rib, stocking stitch and cable stitch.
