Cabled sleeveless cardigan

This sleeveless cardi with its lovely cables twisted with printed fabric is romantic, bucolic and just a touch retro - what’s not to love? It looks good with all sorts of outfits depending on the situation. The cardi looks perfect with a flowery dress for an even more romantic effect. Or with trousers, to light up your outfits without hiding them in any way.

We knitted this pattern up in different yarns so that it would suit both adults and children

The adult version uses our ALASKA 100 flecked, slightly twisted yarn to bring out a more authentic, hand-made look.

Knit it on 6 mm and 6.5 mm needles – plus a cable needle to help with the cables.

Stitches used: 2x2 rib, stocking stitch, reverse stocking stitch, cartridge stitch and cables.

Machine wash on wool cycle, dry flat.
