And the winner is:
Leven Crafts - Guisborough

A word from Ruth Myers, the owner:

"Leven Crafts can be found in the little market town of Guisborough, right on the edge of the North Yorks Moors and and has been run for the past 4 years by myself and my sister, Lorna.

The shop is a specialist needlecrafts shop, selling wool, fabrics, embroidery supplies, haberdashery and notions. We have plenty of stitching disciplines to keep us busy and a very loyal customer base who have been coming to the shop for many years, the business having been in the town for over 35 years.

We became a Bergere de France partner store 18 months ago and really love promoting the gorgeous range of yarns and patterns. The chic style of the patterns was what initially attracted us – they are so classy and just that bit different from anything else out there on the market. We enjoy helping customers choose their yarns and encouraging them to try Bergere in place of their usual choices and we are always happy to help with any knitting or crochet queries. We update our sample garments regularly which are great for promoting the yarns and keep a stock of different needles, tools and accessories for our knitters too.

We have two knitting groups which meet regularly in the shop, one of which knits garments for refugees and the other is currently knitting Twiddlemuffs for dementia sufferers. We are able to offer one-to-one crochet tuition and run regular crochet classes covering a range of projects. We are looking forward to our Bergere Spring/Summer promotional events in April when we can let our lovely customers get their hands on the delicious new seasons’ yarns! "
