Here are a few of the other services we offer:
Ordering a specific dye lot
Colour can vary in very subtle ways from batch to batch. To avoid any colour differences in your finished pieces, we recommend that you always use yarn from the same dye lot in any one project. You can find the dye lot number on the label of your skeins, along with the product reference.
If you have run out of wool for your project and you want to order more from the same dye lot, you can use this form to add it to your shopping cart. You can order up to 3 skeins per dye lot, subject to availability.
Visit the Bergère de France factory
Based in Bar-le-Duc, in the heart of the Lorraine region, the Bergère de France factory is the last industrial woollen mill in France to produce hand-knitting yarns. Covering an area of 14 acres and employing around 400 people, it is one of the largest and most advanced mills of its kind in Europe. And we'd love to show you around!
You can visit our production lines and see how we make our lovely yarns, and then shop in the unique factory outlet where you can bag some amazing bargains from our yarn and clothing ranges. Visits are organised by the tourist office in Bar-le-duc. The tourist office can provide English-speaking guides, just let them know when booking your visit.
Bar-le-Duc is about 4 hours' drive from Calais, and 2-3 hours drive or 1-2 hours train journey from all major Paris airports and train stations.
